About LSS Lone Star Smockers is a chapter of the Smocking Arts Guild of America (SAGA). The purpose of our guild is to establish high standards of quality workmanship and to further the appreciation of the smocking arts and other associated handwork through education, teaching, and communication. New members need to create a hand-made badge to wear to all meetings and functions. The design is up to you. Many guild members have similar badges. You can download the design below. The finished dimensions are 5 3/4" x 3 1/4", this includes the 1/4" fringe around the edge. Fold is 1 1/2" total (includes the fringe).
